⏸️ You’re welcome to stop reading here, you have everything you need to dive in.

…but if you want to learn a bit more about how this newsletter is constructed, read on.

I believe to trust a curator you have to trust their METHODOLOGY. How do I choose what goes in this newsletter? What type of content makes the cut?

My Guiding Questions

There is so much noise in the digital world. There’s also so much excellent content to find, engage, and share. Here are the questions guiding my process of sourcing material for this newsletter…

  • Did it make me think?

  • Did it make me think differently? Does it challenge something I thought I knew or understood?

  • Did it make me feel or move me to action?

  • Do I feel like this needs to be magnified? Did this get enough press?

  • Is this misunderstood, underrated, or otherwise needing to be presented with a fresh perspective?

  • Do I want to attach my name to this take, idea, project, or person?

  • Is this something I or someone else may want to reference again later?

Curation Inspiration

To ensure I am creating something meaningful, and being a good steward of your attention, I am scouring widely through digital space. A single week of material can take 25+ hours of my time to source. Here are some of my sources…

  • the 5500+ thoughtful creators I follow on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok collectively

  • 12+ arts, culture, news, fashion, architecture, design, and food magazines I read religiously

  • 20+ independent newsletters I support and read consistently

  • helllllaaaaa podcasts

  • badass friends that send me the flyest content they see on their screens and IRL

  • my life, work, and community

… and this list grows by the day

Schedule

Each week you’ll get 3 emails from me on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

On Monday, I’ll share a spotlight story and I’ll curate themes around bidness and what I’m most thinking about for the week ahead.

On Wednesday, I’ll share a bit of what I’m watching and reading.

On Friday, I’ll make sure you get sumn to eat with a visually rich, inspired curation of the most beautiful content I’ve seen on the internet that week and I’ll share what I’m listening to heading in to the weekend.

That’s all you need to know for now. See you in the newsletter!
